[Drake] microphone impedance mod for T4XC

I'm interested in talking with anyone who has installed a Heil low to high 
impedance matching transformer in their T4XC for use with the Heil ProSet 
plus headset with the HC4 and HC5 mike elements (low impedance).

I did the install and while I seem to have plenty of audio to modulate the 
T4XC I am getting reports of very "thin" and "harsh" audio with lots of 
highs and no lows using the ProSet Plus HC4 and HC5 elements.....this, 
regardless of where the mike gain control is set on the T4XC.

I was using a Shure 444D mike before doing the mod and was getting excellent 
audio reports...am wondering if the matching transformer and HC4/HC5 
elements will ever get good audio reports on the T4XC.

Hoping to hear from someone who has done the above mod and is getting good 
audio reports with the HC4/HC5 elements.
