Ed - Actually it's very simple.  The crystal for both the R4B and T4XB is 29.1 Mhz.  This puts the
twins at 18.0-18.5 Mhz.  I've seen these crystals many places...hamfests, reflector...They are
common.  No pitfalls that I know of...I use my pair quite a bit on 17 meters.
