Couple of other thoughts. 

A motorcycle (chopper) shop has a lot of small parts painted in black 
wrinkle and probably has either the facilities or a contact.  Or you 
could always get it chrome plated!  :-)

Hartzell Mfg (original Drake paint shop) still paints (actually powder 
coats) 4 Series cabinets for I believe $25 / piece and could probably do 
the 7 cabinet the same way.  <vickroy at hartzellmfg.com>
