[Drake] T4X question

Hi,

Have eventually located my TC-2 manual which I thought would be more
likely to have this information than the T4X manual.

First of all the TC-2 required 0.25V drive at 14.0 to 18.0 MHz.

The modifications to the T4X are described on pp5-7 of the manual and
involve drilling three 1/4 inch holes in the rear of the chassis. One
pair is used to remove the screen volts from the PA and the third is
used for the exciter output. The latter comes from the '20 meter PA
Grid Circuit'. The manual implies that this mod has to be done for
all T4 series transmitters.

Alas I have no means of scanning the manual, having given my scanner
to a family member, but I'm sure there are copies at BAMA or somewhere similar.
