The Collins 32S-1, 32S-2, 32S-3, 32S-3A, KWM-2, and
KWM-2A have the jacks. These are normally jumpered
internally. When used with the 62S-1 transverter the
jumper is cut. If the unit is later used without the
transverter then a jumper has to be in place.

The purpose of this jumper is to remove the screen
voltage from the 6146 final amplifier tubes.

Heath does a similar modification to the SB-100,
SB-101, SB-102, SB-110, SB-110A, SB-400, and SB-401
when the SB-500 2-meter transverter is used with the
equipment. Again the purpose is to remove the screen
voltage from the 6146 final amplifier tubes. However,
this is done on a Molex connector on the back of the
unit.

Perhaps later issues of this model added something
else. I don't find anything in my manual that
describes what you are asking about.
