[Drake] R-4A Problem - Thank you

Thanks to Chuck (W6RD), Frank (K5DZK) and Al (W8UT)
for your suggestions which included checking the
XTAL-VFO switch, checking the voltage regulator
providing "B+" to the VFO, and checking various TPs
with a scope for a possible bad transistor.
  Fortunately the problem was no more difficult than
dirty contacts on the XTAL-VFO switch.  Jiggiling it
brought the receiver back to life.  I opened the
bottem and gave it a good dose of DeOxit and now it is
as good as ever.
