[Drake] DRAKE 1-A

I recently acquired a DRAKE 1-A receiver that is currently undergoing  
complete restoration.  Topside chassis showed fairly heavy rusting, but  below deck 
it's in pretty good condition.  While the chassis and electrical  restoration 
is proceeding nicely, the front panel is quite another issue.   It's beyond 
saving, meaning the lettering will become victim to the panel bead  blasting and 
re-painting.  Rust is the issue here also.
 
I'm exploring several ways to restore the lettering to the panel but  thought 
I'd "ping" this list to see if there might be a 1-A out there that is  not 
restorable but has a decent front panel.  A parts rig with a good panel  would 
be acceptable.  Anyone?  Anywhere?  Please contact me off  the list.
 
While I'm on the subject, does anyone know if DRAKE (Miamisburg) retains  any 
older parts, panels, etc......?????   I seem to remember they  dumped a bunch 
of stuff some time back but I cannot honestly say I know that for  sure.   
Any comments here????
