Guillermo - thanks very much.  In AVC off, I read -87 volts DC, in any AVC 
position I read -30 volts, and this happens no matter what the position of the 
function switch - even standby - it does drop to zero at OFF tho :) about the 
only thing close to right.   73 Scott
