[Drake] tr7

hi folks, i just picked up a tr7. receive is great..  transmit has a =
glitch..  when i speak on ssb , transmit is ok  until i increase the mic =
gain, then the tr7 sends a steady carrier...  any ideas?  tnx  paul w8jn
