[Drake] R-4B Question

Hello Drake Listers,

I picked up my first Drake R-4 series receiver a couple of days ago.  It is 
an R-4B and seems to be in pretty good condition and works.  So far I have one 
problem which perhaps some of you have addressed before.

The "Passband Tuning" knob seemed loose.  I tried tightening it and that 
helped a little but was not a cure.  I finally removed the knob and discovered the 
steel shaft is 1/8" diameter.  Inside the knob is a 1/4" by 1/8" bushing of 
phenolic material.  The setscrew doesn't tighten the bushing to the shaft.  Has 
anyone devised a good way to securely attach the bushing to the shaft?
