[Drake] TR7 Hot S meter

Just did a set up of S meter by the TR7 service manual alignment method and
now the S meter is way too hot (S9 for about 7 uv instead of about 30 to 50
uv)... have re-done it several times and get same result .. also tried a
method supposedly to be from Drake service dept and can get reasonable s
meter cal but with rf gain full ccw only goes to S9 + 60 instead of full
scale which bugs me ... what really bugs me is what happened with the
re-adjustment as part of doing a re alignment per the Drake TR7 manual ..(I
know if it aint broke dont fix it but here I am) ..I am pretty sure it went
to full scale before at full ccw and I am absolutely sure its much "hotter"
than it was before.

Any gurus out there seen this and have a quick fix before I dig any further
?? Incidentally the rest of the alignment by the manual went pretty much by
the book and very little tweaking needed at all .. pretty good of 23 years
or so .
