It pulls the air across the heat sink. If you need a replacement go to Radio
Shack and get catalog number 273-241 or www.radioshack.com. It's a 4 inch
120V fan that fits perfectly on the TR-7 and PS-7. I've been using them for
years. I can't find anything in the Drake Service Manual or owners manuals
on the CFM of the Drake fan (FA-7, Model # 1529) and I even have the
Installation Instructions for the fan. With the Radio Shack fan you will
have to install a plug so you can plug it into the 120 V outlet on the back
of the TR-7.
