Two problems with a TR-4C that I'm repairing.  (1) Intermittent noise =
bursts which sound like 80 or 40 QRN.  Reads S-1 to -2.  Noise is being =
generated before S-meter circuit and AFG.  Antenna disconncected.  (2)  =
With VFO zero'd w/ calibrator at "0" on dial, it reads 3-4 Kc high at =
"500" on the dial.  Crystal calibrator is right on 100.00 Kc.  Comments =
