[Drake] TR4 Help

I am repairing a recently acquired TR4C. The problem is
the 2 ohm shunt resistor used with the plate meter. It was
open and by replacing ;  the problem is solved. My question
is what type resistor was originally used here????? The defective
one was a halfwatt carbon film which doesn't seem right to me.
I would like to replace it with the correct resistor and my documents
are very limited. Any help would be appreciated.
