[Drake] Transmit audio problems

I had a few comments on the audio from my T-4XB recently. They said that,
although it did not sound "bad", there appeared to be something of a slight
buzz or perhaps raspyness to it. Not really a distortion as such. The
suggestion has been that it's in the audio stages and not anything directly
RF related. Perhaps an audio tube or capacitor.

I'm using a D-104 mic. Same one I've used for years. I have replaced some
capacitors in the rig. Some disks and some of the tubular ones. The .47
mfd ones, for example. Guess I can't vouch for the quality of the later
ones. I've also replaced all of the electrolytic caps in the AC-4 supply
and the two electrolytics within the transmitter itself. This rig has also
had the PA converted to 6146 tubes. I also have installed the fan mod.
That is a small DC fan on the back of the PA cage powered by a small
half-wave rectifier circuit "stealing" power from the filament supply.

Any ideas?
