Actually, the US has a pretty good share of the HF amplifiers
market - enter Alpha Power, Ameritron, Command Technologies,
QRO Tech and SGC. Other players are Acom (Bulgaria) and
Emtron (Australia). The Japanese are coming on strong in
area of no-tune solid state amps (Yaesu Quadra and ICOM PW-1),
but the US is still the place to buy tube amps.
