For those who are following along with Kurts R4A power supply:

I have checked out my R4A (running normally) and after 1.5 hours the power
transformer is quite warm.  So warm that I can't hold my palm on top of it
for more than about 5-10 seconds.  The filter capacitor is just barely above
ambiant temperature.
So the big question right now is  - Is Kurts capacitor in the process of
self destructing, or will it form itself up and behave?
