I did this some years ago and my memories are sketchy at best...
As I recall, the DD6 would "sorta" work with the R4C if the internal jumper
was set
for the C-Lines IF difference, but required extra drive when connected to
the VFO output
of the receiver. I did it with an extra stage of buffer/amplification.
Did read out, but
seems like it wasn't correct on some bands. Sorry I don't remember more.
C-Line
left outta here years ago.
There are some other digital dials available and with the DD6 being
collectible, think
I'd sell it and buy the newer one.
