 Hi all, I just picked up a very nice R4B. It needs a little work. Since I'm 
in the process of moving, my HamManual CD with the R4B operation manual is 
packed (along with all my tools, etc). I can't seem to get the complete 
version of the manual from BAMA.......
One I get settled, I will completely go through the radio. Kind of like a 
fish on land right now    :>(

Here's what I found so far:
1. 160 M dead  hmmm, I forget about this part
2.  20 M dead   crystal is there
3. radio recieves LSB fine but USB is not understandable, no matter where the 
PBT is placed. This exact same thing happed to my 75A-4 after recapping, it 
was easily fixed during alignment.

The following crystals were installed in the accessory position. Can anyone 
with the chart in the manual determing their frequency?

12.6
21.6
28.6
27.1
35.1

I could have a bad tube, no way of telling right now. Any other 'things' to 
be aware of?
Any suspect caps?
