That looks really cool Lee. I wonder what tubes he uses in the
4 stage regen? Possibly something like 1S4, 1T4, 1R5 since
they only use 90V from three PP3 batteries. I wonder
though, if the batteries would be used up rapidly.
That adds a lot to the expense at about $20-30 a set!
Of course we could MODEL the tube sound with solid
state and produce the whole thing for under $2000.
It seems like $109.00 is not too bad for
such a kit when you consider they have to come up
with things like an output transformer, speaker etc.
Some of us have often wondered if there might be
a good market for such kits.
