Hi all!

Don't forget the DCART net tonight (Monday
6Mar06) at 1830L on the 147.27+ pl123 repeater!

Also, I've received the following note. The folks
up in Seattle are having a "Communications
Academy", details below. As far as I can tell
it's very like EMCOMMWest but way up in Seattle,
a 2 day drive from Douglas county unless you're very ambitious!

>We would appreciate it if you could pass this on
>to your members, groups, ARES organizations, and
>clubs. The Seattle Communications Academy has
>been serving the Pacific Northwest for a number
>of years, bringing together the best in EMCOMM
>to help everyone. We'd appreciate your help in
>getting the word out to people and getting your
>encouragement for them to sign up early. Passing
>on this email, mentioning it on your nets, and
>any other way you can help let people know will
>help. If you would like, I will be happy to make
>a personal appeal to any list you'd like a post

>As always, the greatest difficulty is getting
>the word out. Please take the time to help us
>get people interested and signed up to come.
>It's well worth the travel time and the effort
>to be in Seattle for this very interesting and
>informative learning experience. While you can
>sign up on site, it will help us if you can
>encourage your members to sign up ahead of time
>online so we can be prepared for them when they
>come. In addition, if you would like pictures or
>other material from past events, let me know and
>I'll be happy to make the available to you.

>This has always been an exciting event, a chance
>to learn new things and meet people dealing with
>the same problems as you are. Any help you can
>give to publicize this event will help to make it that much more successful.

>Your help is greatly appreciated
