I received the following request from a gentleman in New York trying to
arrange a slow-speed CW QSO with someone in Nevada. The gentleman is Dick
Pav K2RFP and he can be reached by e-mail at
<rpav at suffolk.lib.ny.us>. Please contact him if you feel you can help him out.

Thanks.

Subject: Request for Nevada QSO

I found your homepage by surfing QSL.NET. The photo on your
opening page is awesome!

I like the idea of a traditional radio club, it reminds me
of amateur radio when I was a ham the first time around. I
was a ham in the late 1950's but let the license expire in
the 1960's. My call was K2VGS. Now that I am retired I'm
back into the hobby and enjoying it.

I work mostly 80, 40, and 20 m CW and top out at about ten
words per minute. It's tough for the old brain to go faster!
I sure would like a QSO with a QSL from Nevada, it's one I
need for WAS. Maybe I'll get lucky and link up with one of
the Carson Valley club members.
