[DARARepeater] VAMC Ham Shack | AREDN | Emergency Communication

Follow-up to the follow-up which I thought I sent to DARA.

I just talked with the VA Emergency coordinator.  He just started the 
process of looking for some HAM volunteers to run the VAMC Ham Club 
shack thing.  Currently one of the doctors goes in the shack once a 
month to check the equipment.  The shack has been idle since 2019, 
volunteer wise.  The coordinator did say the High Frequency antenna need 
a mast clamp replaced.

We discussed an AREDN node for the Hospital and since he is studying for 
his HAM Tech it was like the blind leading the blind.

Chuck please reach out to me, we need a ELMER.

Mark Erbaugh looks like you've brow-beat me into a presentation at the 
DARA! 🙂
