COVID 19 Announcement from the DARA Board

March 12, 2020 
Message from the DARA Board

In regards to the current spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), your health and
safety is our concern. With that said we are announcing a change in use of
the DARA clubhouse and cancellation of April 3 meeting at the Kettering Rec
Center.

The Dayton Amateur Radio Association board has decided to cancel all public
meetings scheduled to be held at the B Road  club house effective
immediately until April 6. 

This falls within the current recommendations from our state and local
health professionals.

The club house will be open for member use but not for meetings.

Also, the membership meeting scheduled at the Kettering Rec Center on April
3 has been cancelled.

The Hamvention Executive Committee wants to update the Amateur Radio
Community of our current status in regards to COVID19. The health and
welfare of all attending this event is very important to us all.

As most of you know the COVID19 pandemic is a very fluid situation and the
Hamvention Executive Committee is constantly in touch with the Greene County
Department of Health and in turn they have daily meetings with the Ohio
Department of Health.

As of now we plan on holding Hamvention unless otherwise directed.
It is our intention to follow the orders of the State of Ohio and the Greene
County Health Dept. 

We will update as required.
