is providing these questions. Thanks Steve
Answers are at the end of this email.
After more than 60 quizzes there are still parts of the Extra question pool
where not a single question has been drawn. To remedy this, section E9E
(matching antennas to feed lines; phasing lines; power dividers) was
selected from the Extra pool.
T9B02 What is the impedance of most coaxial cables used in amateur radio
installations?
A. 8 ohms
B. 50 ohms
C. 600 ohms
D. 12 ohms
G9D05 What is an advantage of vertical stacking of horizontally polarized
Yagi antennas?
A. It allows quick selection of vertical or horizontal polarization
B. It allows simultaneous vertical and horizontal polarization
C. It narrows the main lobe in azimuth
D. It narrows the main lobe in elevation
E9E13 (C)
What is a use for a Wilkinson divider?
A. It divides the operating frequency of a transmitter signal so it can be
used on a lower frequency band
B. It is used to feed high-impedance antennas from a low-impedance source
C. It is used to divide power equally between two 50 ohm loads while
maintaining 50 ohm input impedance
D. It is used to feed low-impedance loads from a high-impedance source
