A lot of years we do not have TNG meetings due to the holiday.  

This year TNG falls on the 'day after'.  So TNG will be held as normal

Amateur television is the subject of the quiz this week.  Interesting trivia
- the General question pool does not have TV questions.  The word television
does not appear, and "TV" only appears in wrong answers for three questions!
Even the questions on vacuum tubes have been fairly well exhausted from the
General question pool.  Instead of the early technology of tubes to produce
images, the modern method using diodes saved this week's quiz topic!
