The Thursday Night Group will meet

Thursday, December 5 at 7:00 pm at the DARA Clubhouse.

Things this week:  

1.   DARA Holiday Party

The Holiday Party is Upon Us 

December 6 is the Dara Holiday Party.  This year we will hold the event at
the Greene County Exposition Center.  Members and their families are
invited.  The doors will open at 6:30pm.  Food will be served at 7:00pm.
The facility is handicap accessible.  Activities for the children will be
available.  Marion's pizza and salads will be served along with
refreshments.  Please bring a dessert to share.  Michael Kalter's band will
again be providing the music for the evening.  A special visitor will be
stopping by to see everyone and may have a gift for the kids.  Please let
Jim Storms or Ron Cramer know NOW the number of kids you are bringing so we
can plant a bug in Santa's ear!!! 

2.  Barb Holmes Service

There will be a visitation (11:00 AM) and memorial service (12:00PM)
followed by light luncheon for Barb on 

Saturday, December 7 at the Shiloh United Church of Christ at the corner of
Philadelphia Drive and 

North Main, 5300 Philadelphia Drive.

you can use while either operating or listening.

minimizing noise and interference for CW reception?

A. 500 Hz

G4A02 What is one advantage of selecting the opposite, or "reverse,"
sideband when receiving CW signals on a typical HF transceiver?

A. Interference from impulse noise will be eliminated

B. More stations can be accommodated within a given signal passband
