Received via radio-officers at googlegroups mail list from Jean-Pierre F5YG.
Thank you so much, David, for the advertisement. Certainly our friends
heredon't
need it, but they will perhaps be happy to know that telegraphy is still
alive in the French army. This training course could be useful for the next
generation.
The transmitters are located in Vernon (Normandy), running about 5 KW on
good aerials. The frequencies are 3881 and 6825 kHz so it can only be
heard during the daytime in western Europe.. This course is implemented by
the DIRISI (Direction Interarmées des Réseaux d'Infrastructure et des
Systèmes d'Information de la défense,), 8th signals regiment.
Best 73 my friends, have a nice Sunday,
Jean-Pierre F5YG (ex FNHE, FNMV, FHIY, FNHD, FNHG)
