Hi Frank --
You're obviously an expert with bugs. Have you tried the Begali Intrepid <Intrepid - Begali's Web site (i2rtf.com)<https://www.i2rtf.com/intrepid.html>>, which is a completely new design?

The design of semi-automatic keys has changed very little since Horace Martin sold his first “bug” more than a hundred years ago. The Intrepid, however, introduces a distinct new architecture that breaks this mold.

Subject: [CW] Frank W7IS on Speed Keys

Back in 2009, I put together a Blog about speed keys that I had been working with at the time...
and during the testing with several Lionel J36 WW2 Lightning keys.. I found some interesting info
about the dot side coil spring adjustment.
Below is the link to the Blog about the J36 plus a number of other speed keys that I was testing in 2009.

I got carried away--- and over a 25-year span, I acquired over 100 speed keys for testing....

Hopefully others will find some of the below speed key info helpful.

Frank W7IS
