What a shock, and loss. I never met Ray, but last year we exchanged a 100
emails as I tested the last 3 versions of his G4FON tutor.
I was just  sending a minor bug report when this shock came in. In addition
to ham radio/cw, Ray was was one of the finest software developers
I have ever worked with in 40 years, he was never defensive, always open to
ideas, and extremely responsive. Sometimes he would deliver several updates
in one day addressing
issues almost as soon as I could communicate them to him.

His trainer will live on for a long time.

Truly to be missed. RIP my friend.
