[CW] Recommendations for Head Phones

I agree with Steve about Sennheiser. I've had a couple different ones and no issues, comfortable and decent pricing.

Having said this, I must admit that I use David Clark S10/DC "Listen Only" because, as a long time aviator, I prefer this brand. The model I have has 23 dB noise reduction, minimal clamping pressure (compared to other David Clark models), individual volume controls for each ear. I operate 100 percent CW and always wear the cans so I can attest that long CW sessions remain comfortable for me. The price, however, exceeds the original posters desire to stay in the $150 neighborhood. 73, Stan WB2LQF

Replacement parts are still available, though, which to me is always a sign of a good company. But studio users like their current products. I only have experience with their wired headphones which I assume you are interested in as well. Wireless could be great in certain situations, I suppose, but I don't want the complication of another system involved.
