[CW] Beautiful W4PAL Micro Bug

Beautiful key.
How does it work? The vibrating arm looks much shorter than a Vibroplex
or similar bugs. What I presume to be the adjustable mass at the end of
the arm looks a lot lighter than the typical mass on other bugs. Both
of those factors would make it a very fast bug. Is there a damping
mechanism equivalent to that on a Vibroplex etc.?
Were many of these models made, or is it a one-off?
