The man sending did a beautiful job, it's not easy keying a quarter
megawatt continuous wave alternator with all that noise and rumbling
in the background.

Here is a short recording of SAQ received on a 1920 receiver - no BFO
just as it would have been received in those days during the "spark"
days when CW started by the Alexanderson alternator and arc started
dethroning "King Spark".
