I really doubt that.
First, in all the contests I have participated in, very few at the 50
WPM mark, but for no more that a few
CQs. 35 WPM is more typical high.
Yes, my computer often sends the exchange information as is the exchange
I copy, but I copy that
exchange myself, no machine. Yes, I have a lot of experience copying
CW, thus I have become
proficient. Do not let this "machine copy" nonsense deter your
practice. With a couple that I played with
out of curiosity, I copied better, ie. more accurately, all the time.
Most contesters roll along between
18 and 35 WPM.
