[CW] Response to Morse Telegraph Posting about Vibroplex

    FWIW, I just found an ad from Vibroplex in QST for November 
1951 p. 127. It features the "Super Deluxe" key, which is 
described as running form the slowest to highest speeds without 
extra weights. Obviously has the LaHiff adjustable main spring. 
The illustration is of the regular "Deluxe" model they must not 
have had a cut of the Super-Deluxe. The price noted, $29.95, is 
for a model with gold plated top plate but its not clear if this 
is for the Super-Deluxe or just Deluxe.
    What pricked up my ears was a small cut at the bottom of the 
ad advertising typewriters. I noted that your history says that 
Vibroplex shared space with a typewriter shop, evidently the same 
company. It advertises both new and rebuilt machines, either 
portable or full sized. Before typewriters were pretty much 
supplanted by word processors rebuilt machines were very popular. 
As good as a  new machine but much cheaper. I had never noticed 
this before reading  your brief history of Vibroplex.
