[CW] Really Fast Hand Sending

    Thank you Dave, that makes me feel better. I did not bother 
with the novice but went for the general which at the time had 
all the privileges. I ran very low power with home brew and 
surplus transmitters and a BC-779 Super-Pro I unmodified but put 
some of my own modification in. It was a very good receiver and I 
still have it. CW works better for low power. Although I could do 
SSB with a B&W adaptor given me by my mentor. CW was like going 
into another world, hard to describe but I suspect you know. I 
don't know what my speed was up to when I had to work and did not 
have the time for ham radio for a long time.
