I think it took me about three months to get up to about 13 wpm at
which time I took my Novice, that was issued January 1965.  By the
time another three months went by, I was up to about 18 wpm, so I took
my 13 wpm and got my General in June 1965.  Two years later, I took
the Amateur Extra because I saw incentive licensing was on the
horizon.  That was November 1957, at age 16.
