[CW] Vibroplex Champion Question

Joe, the arm is centered in the north/south axis but not in the east/west
axis. The little bump is hitting near the rear edge of the roller.

It is working fine but looks funny......not plumb, level, and square.

I think what I have is a Lightning arm assembly in my Champion bug.

Life is complicated at times. lol

Hi, Gary.

I am not sure why some think it should be in the enter, but it should be a
bit above or below the center,
thus causing the roller in the single post roller damper to actually rotate
a bit. The lever height should
be adjusted for correct contact position only!

The Lightning uses a double post supported bar that has the damper suspended
below. One Zhephyr
I am currently restoring has a damper roller supported by a "U" shaped
channel,

I believe yours is a solid post with a notch and the roller is in that
notch. The small rotation keep it
from wearing a spot/notch in one place.
