[CW] Vibroplex Champion Question

No, that centering is fine. It's the place on the circular damper wheel where the little bump on the end of the lever shaft contacts it. I think the bump should hit the middle of the wheel and not the far edge. It works but is annoying to the eyeball.
I know, picky.

If you are talking about hitting the top or the bottom of the damper
wheel, the adjustment is the trunnion adjustment screw located below
the trunnion and accessible by a slotted screw on the underside of the
bug. The other side of this adjustment is at the top of the trunnion assembly - it centers the whole vibrator.
The Lightning Bug, Champion and Zether all used the same vibrator parts.
Here is a diagram with names for the parts used by Vibroplex.

One of the keys I recently purchased was a black Champion. As I stated in a previous email, someone tried to convert it into a left handed key by turning it upside down. I have since repaired that activity but I notice that the button on the end of the lever bar is not hitting the center of the damper roller but is almost to the edge. I see no adjustments for this issue. I wonder if the lever bar belongs to a Lightning bug and not the Champion.
Thoughts?
