[CW] Where did the SINE come from?

In telegraphy it always was "SINE" and probably from a telegrapherization
(new word warning!) of "Signature" as SIG was used for the part of a cable
or radiogram that was the signature.

The other interesting things I've learned is that HR meant "Hand Ready" as
in HR MSG (Master's Ship Gram or "ship's business message" which had a
special rate for charging, as messages preceded by MSG, OPRDH (Operator
Dead Head) were exempt from ship word charges.  Additionally OPRDH was
exempt from Coast Station (49 cents) charge and ship (8 cents) charge, only
the Western Union landline charges of 7-3/4 cents a word were to be paid.
