Key debouncing can easily be done electronically, The circuit is closed
when the key closes the first time of the bounce period and keeps closed
during that bouncing time and beyond, during the dead time of 10 ms. The
circuit is opened on the first opening of the key that occurs after the
closing time AND the dead time is also passed.

When you key the dits with maximum 60 wpm the dit mark and dit space are
20 ms, so when you allow 10 ms bouncing dead time, you always get
perfect dits out without delay.

I suppose that every modern commercial transmitter has this already
build in.

However when I take a look at the waterfall display in the CW part of
bands during weekends or during contests, which are the same, it turns
out that a lot of signals have a pretty wide bandwidth due to key
clicks. I suppose they are introduced by the "linears" in use.
