[CW] FCC Telegraph (T) License Question Pool Errata

When I took the T exam a few years ago there were quite a few questions that were poorly worded, or had distracting typos. Apparently I managed to interpret most OK, given the relatively high score they reported for me. I also felt there was a section in which the questions and answer-groups were offset - in other words, there were several questions for which the answers were under the adjacent question! I have no idea how they handled that - maybe those were the ones I "missed".

I had little trouble with the "obsolete topic" questions - I enjoy the history of radio and my appreciation of the old days was one of the reasons I got this ticket in the first place. But if this license is meant to be a serious endeavor for the modern age then those questions should be eliminated. "Dynatron oscillator", indeed.

Subject: [CW] FCC Telegraph (T) License Question Pool Errata

A few years ago, FCC eliminated two of the FCC radiotelegraph licenses, which were T3, T2, and T1, third class, second class, and first class radiotelegraph operator's certificates. You needed a T2 or T1 to operate a ship radiotelegraph station, and you needed a T1 to be a Chief Radio Officer on a passenger ship.

I knew some of the official answers for the FCC radiotelegraph license were incorrect, but I had no idea how many were incorrect.

See:

If any are studying for the still offered Radiotelegraph Operator's Certificate, this would help with studying for Element 6.

The official FCC question pools are here:

Official FCC Element 6 is here:
