If you passed your code tesr in frontof the FCC at 20 wpm, it is valid for
all four code exams for the T license, and the FCC can never ask to retest
you. In front of Volunteer examiner, 20 wpm exam is equally good, but FCC
can reexamine you at any time, if you pass, they can't examine you for that
test element ever again (unless you let your license lapse past the grace
period.

Short answer if you had a 20 wpm Exrra, your all set.

In the old days, your'd see this most on Technician licenses. If you went
for your General at FCC but failed the code at 13 wpm, but passed at 5 wpm,
you'd take the General theory and be issued a TECHNICIAN license, those
taking by mail would receive a TECHNICIAN C license!

In the old days you would have to send and receive error free for a minute,
16 gpm code groups and 20 wpm English.
