You might consider contact type of cement.  Put some on the base of the 
key and mating surface of the feet, let it dry to being tacky
to the touch.  Then force the feet over the rivet head.  Contact cement  
will hold for a long time, it is a bit flexible whereas super glues
sometimes becomes brittle and looses its hold if it suffers a 
substantial blow.  Just a thought.
