GHD keys are beautifully finished. I have a Frattini J-36 semi-automatic
key, and it is able to send 200 dots when I'm sending 10 dots a second (a
speed of 24 wpm), I can send dots for 20 seconds. That's amazing. I have
some Vibroplex keys that i can just manage to get 10 good dots out of --
which is sufficient as you only need eight dots - the ERROR signal - in
Morse code.
Mr. Frattini, I1QOD is a master Morse operator, he's a member of all the
super fast Morse clubs HSC #1568, VHSC #360, SHSC #155, EHSC #95 - EHSC
requires a 30 minute contact at a minimum of 60 wpm Morse speed.
He's fast and makes great keys.
Here's an interesting article on radiotelegraphy by Morse.

I guess what you're saying is that the GHD key you just received is quieter
than the Frattini key and that it's easier to send with having a shorter
throw and seems less stiff.
And compared to the Begali key, it's a great key, perhaps not as good as
that key, but considering the price, it's a much better buy and better
(wiser) spent money.
I think if someone offered you a Begali, you would take it and use it along
side your new GHD key.
I don't blame you for that.
Congratulations on the new key.
