<font size="3">Robert, take a look at the Morse Telegraph Club website and also the MorseKOB program. You will see how to build a circuit that will drive a landline sounder from CW tones. Though I think you would do better to keep the 2 different codes separate in your head by </font>
<font size="3">using a sounder only with American Morse.  Check out the MorseKOB program. You don't really need a sounder to copy because you get real sounding clicks and clacks thru your computer speakers. Good luck and I hope to hear you on the Morse wire. Jim. N5KY

...morning, all... been thinking about making land line  type sounding box to use 
  
with ham rx,...wonder how it wud work out listening to "radio" type morse..I am aware of the several different charactures between the two. I have looked up 3 different drawings/scetches to build them..any thots/comments ?  see ya W9ESX/Robert.
