The RBN analysis is interesting, but might be somewhat skewed because of a characteristic of the skimmer-based RBN system.
Skimmer looks only for stations sending CQ and ignores conversational CW. Since most operators adjust their speed to accommodate the QSO partner(s) I'd view the reported averages with some skepticism.
