Actually, they were probably made of 1/2 hard brass. I lost the Mac Key
weight diameter and mine are in Texas. Given the diameter of the weight
and thickness, I can order the brass and easily make them as well as
nickel plate them. I am still working on the rope knurling die to make the
thumb screws with rope knurling.
