Super, Joe!

The Champion is one of the easiest to convert over to a left-handed bug.
I did convert one Original for a chap.
It required drilling one hole, plugging another and repainting the base.
After I remounted the parts as a south-paw
key, it looked so good, I tried to buy it from the guy! I haven't done
one since.

I, also, watch the VR2UW/VS6UW and was duly impressed!

With keyer paddles, I have had two paddles set up for left and right
handed and paddles with a reversing switch.
For bugs, I have just reached over the top, resting part of my palm on
the top of the yoke, thus putting my left thumb
on the dit knob and finger on the dah paddle. With a little practise, I
approached my right hand speed with my left hand
on a bug. With the paddles and keyer, it became easier and quicker
because that requires finger/thumb and the bug
took more wrist movement.

As always, practise will make it more natural and you will be surprised
at how fast your speed will increase.
