Greetings Paul:

Yeah, he was quite the innovator.  In addition, my V22L has 3 different screws, each of differing lengths  (in the plastic holder attached to the paddle) for the three different paddle spacings, and three allen wrenches for adjustments magnetically attached to the left upright.

I also had him affix  my call sign on mine. Is yours similar?

Mike,
Interesting info regarding the WBL V22L.  I've never heard about that
feature being an option before.  Stan must have started offering that
feature as an option sometime after production started.  I remember
that being one of the selling points early on.

I have two V22's (both non-L) here that I originally ordered from
Stan.   S/N 009 built in 1997 which has the set screw present, and
S/N 074 built in 1998 which does not have the set screw.  Until you
posted about the feature, I never noticed that later of the two has
it missing.  I assumed when I ordered it that it would be included
like the first one.

You're right though.. Stan put out some revolutionary designs and
features way back then.
